B-24D-5-CO 41-23795 'Sneezy' 343BS 98BG Libyan desert 1942 - 1943
Equipped with radar and was used in a sea search role early in its career, and may have been operated by other than the 343rd BS. Converted back to a bomber and served in that role with the 343rd from 3 March, 1943 through approximately 30 May 1943 during which time it's name was changed to 'Sneezy' in compliance with the Snow White Squadron directive. 1 Aug 43 'Sneezy' had been transferred to the 344th BS and was flown on the low level Ploesti mission by Donald Johnson's crew. It's operational career ended 23 Feb 44.
