This model assembly kit recreates the French Light Tank H39 making it the fourth French subject in our 1/35 military miniature series. Before WWII, French Army developed the H35 for the Cavalry and in 1939, the H39 appeared as the improved version of the H35. With improved cast pieces such as hull and turret, the H39 featured a 120hp engine and L/33 37mm gun, and it was in service in the German occupation of Norway in 1940. After the French surrender, German forces upgraded numerous H39 tanks and deployed them as a German tank.
