The 22350 type frigate is a surface combat ship designed and built in the early 2000s as a 4,000 ton class frigate based on the 3,000 ton class 1135 type patrol ship (Krivak type). Construction of the lead ship of the class Admiral Gorshkov began in 2006 and was deployed to the Northern Fleet in 2018.
