Plastic model kit of the Dornier Do 17, sometimes referred to as the Fliegender Bleistift (flying pencil), was a light bomber of Nazi Germany during World War II. Designed as a Schnellbomber (fast bomber), a light bomber which, in theory, would be so fast that it could outrun defending fighter aircraft.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit and gunner stations interior, forward fuselage interior, detailed twin engines, single-piece propellers with separate spinners, separate (leading edge flaps and stabilizers), 7.92mm MG 15 machine guns, weapons bay with bombs and racks, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, canopy and other glazings.
