Plastic model kit of the Strasbourg, the second and last battleship of the Dunkerque class built for the French Navy before World War II. Strasbourg was laid down on the n.1 slipway of the civilian Penhoet Shipbuilding Yards at Saint-Nazaire, launched in December 1936. Strasbourg entered service in April 1939, joining the Atlantic Fleet, and formed with Dunkerque the 1ere Division de Ligne.
Kit has single piece full hull, deck with engraved surface features, detailed superstructure, finely molded fittings, detailed ship's boats, life rafts, (x2) Loire 130 floatplane's, filigree masts and yardarms, searchlights, ships cranes, brass anchor chain, 330mm/50 Modele 1931 guns, 130 mm (5.1 in) /45 DP guns, 37 mm (1.5 in) anti-aircraft guns, 13.2 mm (0.52 in) anti-aircraft guns, display stand and name plate, photoetch (railings, ladders, stairs, funnel grilles, cranes and additional fine accents).
Completed kit is approximately 24.13" long. Decals and 3-view color painting reference for a single ship - includes aircraft data and markings, jack and ensign.
