The Lavochkin La-11 (NATO reporting name Fang) was an early post-World War II Soviet long-range piston-engined fighter. The La-11 shape and body structure was very similar to the La-9, the main improvement being in the engine and weaponry. The first flight was in May 1947, but due to the rise of jet fighters only a small batch were produced.
