107 Pieces.The main battle tank of the British Army, the Chieftain is probably the most powerfully armed and best armoured tank in use today. It has been designed to out-gun any potential enemy and relies on heavy and well sloped armour to provide immunity against most weapons. The main armament of the Chieftain is a high velocity 120mm gun in a stabilised mounting and using separate bagged charges rather than cartridge cases. A 13mm ranging machine gun and two 7.62mm machine guns are carried. Power is provided by a 19 litre multi-fuel engine which gives a maximum speed of 40km/h and a range of 400km. Weight is approximately 51 tons and length with gun forward 10.77m.
