The Iosif Stalin tank or IS tank, named after the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, was a heavy tank developed by the Soviet Union. The JS Tank was a series of heavy tanks developed as a successor to the KV-series by the Soviet Union during World War II. Kit has well detailed exterior surfaces, 1-piece lower hull, multi-part upper hull with separate turret, optional metal or injection molded gun barrel, DP Machine Guns, braided wire tow cable, cylindrical fuel drums, separately molded hatches and on-vehicle equipment, filigree hand rails, storage boxes, fully rendered running gear (multi-part sprockets and road wheels), individual link track and photoetch (grilles).
