The McDonnell F2H Banshee was a single-seat carrier-based jet fighter aircraft deployed by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps from 1948 to 1961. Single-seat fighter-bomber version, strengthened portside weapons pylon for 3,230 lb (1,465 kg) Mark 8 nuclear bomb, 25 built. Kit features engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit, detailed wheel wells and undercarriage, wingtip tanks, optional position multi-piece canopy and armament. Also includes resin and photo-etch parts (interior and exterior fine details plus color instrument panels, consoles and seatbelts).
