The Mirage 2000 evolved into a successful multi-role aircraft with several variants developed, the improved Mirage 2000-5 being one of them. In 1992, the Taiwanese AF ordered 48 single-seat Mirage 2000-5EIs and 12 Mirage 2000-DI trainers, with introduction of the first squadron in 1997. On May 8, 1998, a two-seat DI fired one MICA missile and successfully hit a target drone 67km away. Kit contains 190+ parts Includes MICA missile (infra/radar seeking version), 170 light fuel tank and markings for 41st TFG/42nd TFG/48th TG, 499th TFW, Hsinchu AFB.
