The Vought F4U Corsair is an American fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. Designed and operated as a carrier-based aircraft, and entered service in large numbers with the U.S. Navy in late 1944 and early 1945. Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit and fuselage area, canopy and landing lights, separate control surfaces, single piece propeller with separate spinner, cowling with chin intake, detailed R-2800-18W radial engine, machine gun bays, optional drop tanks, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage. Decals and 4-view color painting reference for (2 ) aircraft: Royal Navy, 759 NAS, FAA, Y2F and IS479/Q-BH2, 718 Squadron FAA, Ballyhalbert, 1945 - includes stencil data, propeller data, instrument panel and consoles.
