The Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) was originally a Czech tank of pre-World War II design. After Czechoslovakia was taken over by Germany, it was adopted by the German Army, seeing service in the invasions of Poland, France and Russia. Production ended in 1942, when its armament was deemed inadequate.
Kit has multi-part frame, crisp exterior detail with rivet heads, separate hatches, open-top turret with drivers and fighting compartment interior, 3.7 cm KwK 38(t) L/47.8 gun, detailed gun shield, 7.92 mm MG 37 machine gun, multi-part wheels and sprockets, individual link track, detailed engine and exhaust system, separate on-vehicle tools and equipment, notek light, brass wire tow cable and photo-etch (gearbox, engine, gunner seat, radio, gun mount and other accents).
Decals and markings for (2) tanks: 2nd Panzer Division, France 1944 and 12th Panzer Division.
