Introduced in 1988, the Kawasaki T-4 is a subsonic trainer that replaced Japan's aging fleet of Lockheed T-33s and Fuji T-1s. Kawasaki produced over two-hundred T-4s for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in all. The JASDF's Blue Impulse aerobatic demonstration team transitioned to the T-4 in 1995. Today, the squadron has eleven T-4s in its fleet. This limited edition kit combo features two 1/72 scale Kawasaki T-4 models with one marking option representing the Blue Impulse squadron.
