Factory-equipped with MSIP modifications.
Initiated in 1983, the F-15 Multistage Improvement Program (MSIP) ensured that the aircraft would receive the latest mods at regular intervals. F-15Js, which are produced in Japan under license, started receiving upgrades in 1987. The most significant changes included an upgraded central computer, more powerful engines, an all-around Infrared Search and Track setup and a J/APQ-1 countermeasure set. These mods allow it to more effectively find and engage targets. This limited edition kit features GPS antenna and IRST seeker parts plus two sets of decals for the JASDF.
