The United States Navy Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) forces are the most elite special operations force of the U.S. Navy. They have fought in every major U.S. conflict since the Vietnam War, and today are employed in unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, direct action, counter-terrorism, and special reconnaissance operations.
