Upgraded kit includes laser-cut wood veneer deck, turned brass gun barrels (for all 280mm, 150mm and 105mm guns), dry transfer draft marks, anchor chain, metal nameplate and extensive photo-etch set (railings for all deck levels, inclined ladders, radar mattress, davits, cable reels, deck plates, aircraft details, bow/stern crests, watertight doors, aircraft/catapult accents and much more).

The ship features 2-piece full hull with internally scored waterline to facilitate easy removal of the lower hull, separately molded bilge keels and foredeck breakwater, well detailed superstructure and fittings, adjustable elevation main and secondary artillery in rotatable turrets/shields, detailed ship's boats and Arado Ar 196 seaplane, injection-molded railings for all deck levels, and display stand. Completed model is approximately 20.8" long. Decals for jacks, ensigns, bow and stern crests, plus aircraft markings.
