Introduced as the new standard upper surface color of Luftwaffe aircraft in the summer of 1944. This khaki version is based on one of the three officially approved formulas to be used depending on the available component supply of a particular paint manufacturer.
Real Colors are a range of acrylic lacquer paints much like Tamiya's acrylics.
- Great for airbrushing: AK Real Colors flow smoothly. Even if the surface is too damp the paint stretches and dries with a nice matte finish.
- Thinning: AK Interactive states that Real Color paints can be diluted with any thinner designed for acrylic lacquer paints (non-vinyl), however it has been our experience that these paints should be diluted with Real Color thinner only.
- Holds Firmly: Paint adheres and dries perfectly with a soft matte finish, so you can throw on all the treatments, punishment and weathering you like.
