This paint represents the color variant featured in the color chart included in the 1941 edition of L.Dv. 521/1 regulations.
Used for painting Luftwaffe aircraft interior surfaces until the end of World War II (according to official regulations, replaced in this role by RLM 66 in the summer of 1944).
Also used as supplementary mottling color of Luftwaffe fighters and heavy fighters from ca. mid-1941 until 1944.
A fair match to RAL 6013, overall color of Czechoslovak and Israeli Avia 199 aircraft.
Real Colors are a range of acrylic lacquer paints much like Tamiya's acrylics.
- Great for airbrushing: AK Real Colors flow smoothly. Even if the surface is too damp the paint stretches and dries with a nice matte finish.
- Thinning: AK Interactive states that Real Color paints can be diluted with any thinner designed for acrylic lacquer paints (non-vinyl), however it has been our experience that these paints should be diluted with Real Color thinner only.
- Holds Firmly: Paint adheres and dries perfectly with a soft matte finish, so you can throw on all the treatments, punishment and weathering you like.
