- One of the colors in the so-called Compass Ghost scheme applied to USAF F-15s from the late 1970s until the early 1990s as well as to USAF A-10s from the 1990s until today.
- One of the colors used in the Tactical Paint Schemes applied to US Navy and USMC aircraft from the 1980s until today.
- One of the colours used in the Tactical Paint Scheme applied to USMC AV-8 Harrier fleet from the 1990s until 2014 (initially applied to the sides, later to the undersides).

Real Colors are a range of acrylic lacquer paints much like Tamiya's acrylics.
- Great for airbrushing: AK Real Colors flow smoothly. Even if the surface is too damp the paint stretches and dries with a nice matte finish.
- Thinning: AK Interactive states that Real Color paints can be diluted with any thinner designed for acrylic lacquer paints (non-vinyl), however it has been our experience that these paints should be diluted with Real Color thinner only.
- Holds Firmly: Paint adheres and dries perfectly with a soft matte finish, so you can throw on all the treatments, punishment and weathering you like.
