(TPI refers to the number of teeth per inch, the more teeth per inch, the finer the cut, i.e. blades with 42 tpi leave a smoother finish than those with 24 tpi. Kerf relates to blade thickness or the size of the slot made by the blade in parting the material. Length refers to the length of the blade from end to end.
