USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) (formerly CVA-67) is the only ship of her class (a variant of the Kitty Hawk class of aircraft carrier) and the last conventionally powered carrier built for the United States Navy. Named after the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, and was nicknamed Big John. After nearly 40 years of service in the United States Navy, Kennedy was officially decommissioned on 1 August 2007.
Kit consist of 610+ parts, 34 sprues, single piece full hull, detailed (flight deck, hangar deck and superstructure), full weapons suite, ships crane, life rafts and ships boats, deck fittings, photoetch (railings, inclined and vertical ladders, mast, antenna and additional fine accents), aircraft catapult and aircraft (E2C, EA-6B,HH-60H, S-3B,F/A-18C, F-14D).
Completed model is approximately 18.3" long.
