The first Thunderjet flew in February 1946, and entered operational service the next year. The F-84 saw extensive service during the Korean War and went on to become the USAF's main strike aircraft in that conflict, with all variants flying 86,406 sorties, most of which were against ground targets. The title includes the XP-84, YP-84A, F-84B, F-84C, F-84D, F-84E, and F-84G variants. Includes complete inside and out tour of the different variants and a 2-page modeling summary.
