The U.S. Navy's "Black Knights" strike fighter squadron started flying the F/A-18F Super Hornet in 2003. That same year, the "Black Knights" were given their new VFA-154 designation - as well as a new home base at NAS Lemoore, California. Seven years later, the squadron experienced another major change when it was relocated to Carrier Air Wing Fourteen, on board the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan.
