Slice the sky with the "Daggers" of the ROCAF Thunder Tigers
The "Daggers" of the Republic of China Air Force "Thunder Tigers" demonstration team were surplus F-86F Sabres, repurposed from American stockpiles to defend Taiwanese airspace. The Sabre design was already over a decade old when the Thunder Tigers received their first aircraft, but the exceptionally advanced aircraft continued to be a success in air shows and air combat. Additional equipment, like the AIM-9 Sidewinder, kept the Sabre active in the world's militaries until 1994.
