The F-5E Tiger II was a supersonic light fighter family, initially designed in the late 1950s by Northrop Corporation. In 1970, Northrop won the International Fighter Aircraft (IFA) competition, the resultant aircraft, initially known as F-5A-21, subsequently became the F-5E.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit, (2) resin pilots (seated and standing), optional canopy and speed brakes, landing lights, AN/APQ-159, detailed 20 mm M39A2 Revolver cannons with detailed assemblies, optional gun doors, filigree probe, separate (rudder, trailing edge flaps, slats and ailerons), resin engine nacelles, air intakes, exhaust pipes with afterburner relief detail, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, photoetch (seatbelts and other interior, gun doors, undercarriage and other exterior), armament (AIM-9E, AIM-9B, fuel tanks, MK.20, MK.84, AIM-7, launch rails and pylons).
