That's not Santa...
Like many military groups, VF-211 has many traditions. One of those traditions involves painting a rocket-wielding thug in a Santa suit (his name is Brutus) on their planes whenever the group is deployed over Christmas. The 14,500 lb (6,600 kg) payload of the F-14A Tomcat ensures that Brutus delivers extra-explosive presents to all the bad boys and girls. When it comes to high-explosive ordinance, it is much better to give than to receive.
