Based on the Soviet Yak 18, the CJ6 was produced in China and became a member of the Chinese Air Force in the late 1950's. It was considered a sturdy and reliable aircraft, suitable for use in various climates and therefore versions of the CJ6 were exported to many Asian and African countries. Over 10,000 of these aircraft were produced in total. Kit features a film instrument panel and markings of the Chinese Air Force. Completed model measures about 10" long with a wingspan of about 12"
