Douglas 'Skymaster' four-engine military transport aircraft derived from the DC-4 airliner in US Army Air Force and US Navy service. Kit features engraved panel lines, boxed-in wheel wells, detailed landing gear, wheel chocks, raised relief radial engine faces, filigree 'horseshoe' antenna and injection-molded clear canopy and astrodome. Decals and painting reference for (2) aircraft in service during WWII: USAAF C-54 s/n 41-37297, location unknown, late 1942 and USN R5D-1 BuNo 391139 of VR-5 in Seattle during March 1944 - includes windshield and window blanks, hatch outlines, walkway boundaries and deicing boots.
