The Messerschmitt Bf 109, commonly called the Me 109 (most often by Allied aircrew and even amongst the German aces themselves) is a German World War II fighter aircraft designed by Willy Messerschmitt and Robert Lusser during the early to mid-1930s. From early 1944 a number of G-2s were converted to two seat trainers. Kit features engraved surface detail, detailed cockpit, forward fuselage interior, individual cowling panels, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, single piece 3-blade propeller with separate spinner, optional segmented canopy, centerline drop tank and underwing cannon pods. Decals and 4-view color painting reference for (2) aircraft: 1./JG 54, Lt. Walter Nowotny, 1(W.Nr.10360) and 8./JG 52, Lt. Gunther Rall, 13+ - includes stencil data and instrument panel.
