The English Electric Lightning was a supersonic jet fighter aircraft of the Cold War era. Single-seat fighter F.2A variant; featuring Avon 211R engines, retained ADEN cannon and Firestreak (replacable Firestreak pack swappable with ADEN Cannon Pack for a total of four ADEN Cannon), arrestor hook and enlarged Ventral Tank for two hours flight endurance. Kit has engraved panel lines, cockpit with seated pilot, intake trunk with shock cone, twin exhaust pipes with separate exhaust nozzles, engine turbine faces, boxed-in wheel wells, separate slats, optional position speed brakes and 2-piece canopy. Also includes external stores.
