Plastic model kit of the ZIL-131, a general purpose 3.5 tons 6x6 army truck designed in the Soviet Union by ZIL, basic model being a general cargo truck. Production commenced in 1966, it ceased in 1994 with nearly 1,000,000 of these military trucks produced. Despite its age the ZiL-131 is widely used by Russian military, as well as a number of other countries.
Kit has multi-part frame, detailed exterior and drivers compartment, bucket seat and bench seat, separate inner doors, step ladder detail, filigree windshield wipers, jerry cans and other exterior fittings, roof mounted rack, V8 engine, optional hood, fan, transmission, gas tanks, exhaust system, detailed radiator face, light guards, central tire inflation system, self-recovery winch, mounted A-frame/derrick boom, A/C unit, ladders, workshop cabin with (storage containers, desk with drawers, light fixture and other interior), hinged rear doors, detailed suspension and driveline, rubber tires (includes spare with rack), clear (windshield, windows and lights).
