Bare-Metal Foil is perfect for duplicating chrome on model cars, model trucks, and model aircraft. Bare-Metal also looks great on die cast models. You can use Bare-Metal any place that real metal would add detail to a finished kit. Bare-Metal Foil is a thin metal foil with a self-adhesive backing. Bare-Metal can be applied to painted surfaces or plain plastic. Plus since Bare-Metal Foil is so thin it conforms to compound curves.
The foils come in Chrome, Ultra Brite Chrome, Black Chrome, Gold, Matte Aluminum, and Real Copper. Chrome and new Ultra Brite Chrome look great anywhere you need a chrome finish. And the colored foils can be used to simulate surfaces such as black chrome on modern cars, gold on model rockets, matte on aircraft, and copper on building roofs. These are only a few of the areas where Bare-Metal Foil can be used. There's really no limit to the number of applications for Bare-Metal.
The pressure sensitive adhesive easily sticks to any clean surface. Bare-Metal has an adhesive that is not too aggressive, so it is great for masking. With the mild tack of the product, you can put the foil on your model without worrying about it wrecking your paint job. Bare-Metal Foil is packaged in 6 x 11.75 inch sheets.
