This model kit requires assembly. Cement, paint and other construction materials not included unless specifically stated in the description.
First used in 1936, the Fieseler Fi-156 Storch was the most successful short take-off and landing (STOL) plane used during World War II. Its ability to take off from a 200 foot runway and land on an even shorter strip of ground made it perfect for military transport and reconnaissance missions. Its only armament was a small rear-mounted machine gun and could only fly up to 109 MPH. Still, this versatile plane was widely used, and it is most famous for the daring rescue of Mussolini in the Apennine Mountains.
MRC/Academy's Fieseler Storch "Afrika Korps" is swooping into hobby shops. This 1/72 kit measures 4.5" in length with a 7.5" wingspan. It has a highly detailed cockpit interior and engine compartment. It gives you the option of two different decal schemes, and comes with a Kubelwagen that's great for dioramas.
