Williams Brothers kits are re-issued kits from the 60s and 70s. Part fitment and quality is consistent with kits from that era.

In 1932, a cutting edge wing designer, John Northrop, developed a revolutionary new aircraft of all metal construction, with wing fillets, full length flaps, and his multi-cellular stressed aluminum skin- all of which influenced future designs of many aircraft. The original Gamma 2A project was to deliver, to air racer Frank Hawks, a plane that could travel 2500 miles, and break the Los Angeles to New York record. Howard Hughes did it again in a Gamma 2G! But, probably the most famous mission was when a Gamma was used by Professor Ellsworth, with pilot Herbert Hollick-Kenyon, to make the world's first trans-Antarctic flight in 1935. After flying over 2400 miles, their ship ran out of gas 25 miles short of target, and they had to walk out. The plane was later recovered and now sits in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The Gamma achieved a lot, making it one bright 'Flash in the Pan' of History.
