All across Germany, 44 ADAC air-rescue helicopters are strategically placed to be able to respond to an emergency anywhere within fifteen minutes. This gives the members of the ADAC (German General Automobile Club) some assurance that, should there be a problem out on the Autobahn, a canary-hued "Yellow Angel" will be on its way in moments.
