During the 1990s Western Star - one of the most famous American truck producers - produced an all-new series, the 5964 Constellation, specially designed for the long-haul routes of North America. New aerodynamics, low fuel consumption, greater driving comfort and a more spacious cab immediately made it a favourite among truckers, who used it for fast haulage of refrigerated containers carrying perishable goods.
