When first introduced in 1964, the Chevelle was intended to be a mild-mannered car, the first for Chevy in the newly created mid-size range. 1970 marked the high point in the Chevelle's history as a muscle car, when a new 454 cubic inch engine was made available in two versions-the LS-5, putting out 365 horsepower and the rare LS-6, which developed an outrageous, frame-twisting 450 ponies. Features: Color molded parts and snap construction eliminates the need for glue or paint, new custom large-diameter wheels, colorful peel 'n stick graphics. Skill Level 1-paint and glue not needed.
