This model kit requires assembly. Cement, paint and other construction materials not included unless specifically stated in the description.
The TU-22 was operated by the Soviet Air Force as a strategic nuclear bomber and by the Soviet Navy as a long-range maritime anti-shipping bomber. The TU-22 made simulated attacks on US Naval units and tested Japanese Air defense capabilities on several occasions. The TU-22M was first used in Afghanistan from 1987 to 1989 for aerial bombardment. The TU-22M is still shown as listed in active duty in the Russian and Ukrainian Air Force. Kit includes markings for 2 aircraft.
