The Mk VIII was an adaptation of the Mk VII without the pressurized cabin, and was intended to become the main production model of the Spitfire. Kit features fine engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit with forward fuselage interior, choice of open or closed canopy and door, 1-piece 4-blade propeller with separate spinner, separate control surfaces, detailed wheel bay with optional landing gear, 2 .50 calibre Browning machine guns, semi-elliptical or clipped wingtips.
