Since 1961, the Sikorsky Sea King has served a variety of roles with air forces all over the world. The S-61A is a special version built under license by Mitsubishi, for use by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (J.M.S.D.F.). The J.M.S.D.F. currently employs 18 S-61As to serve as a utility heli and for Search-and-Rescue missions. This limited edition kit features a new searchlight, and outer resin intake fuselage parts.
