The Boulton Paul Balliol and Sea Balliol were monoplane military advanced trainer aircraft built for the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm (FAA) by Boulton Paul Aircraft. Developed in the late 1940s the Balliol was designed to replace the North American Harvard trainer and used the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, with the Sea Balliol a naval version for deck landing training.

Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed two seat cockpit and forward fuselage interior, individual propeller blades, separate control surfaces, optional folding wings, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, single piece canopy, landing lights, resin (seats, control sticks and other interior, chin radiator, wing accents, wheels, (x2) drop tanks), photoetch (seatbelts, instrument panel, cockpit fittings, undercarriage, wipers) plus film instrument panel. Decals and color painting reference for (3) T-2 aircraft: F-ANSF, Factory Demonstrator, Farnborough 1954; CA310 No.1 FTS, Royal Ceylon Air Force, Katunayake 1954 and CA301, No.1 FTS, Royal Ceylon Air Force, Katunayake 1954.
