Williams Brothers kits are re-issued kits from the 60s and 70s. Part fitment and quality is consistent with kits from that era.
For advanced modelers only, this is a difficult kit to build. Still, for those willing to put in the time to make the parts fit properly it builds to a beautiful example of this rare aircraft.
When introduced in 1932, the B-10 was truly a marvel for its time. Roughly twice as fast as any previous bombers, and as fast, or faster, than many fighter planes, the B-10 kicked off the largest order for bombers by the U.S.A. since World War One. This was the first U.S. bomber of all metal construction, with enclosed crew, retractable landing gear, internal bomb bay, and the first enclosed turret gunner. Glenn Martin's design won him the Collier Trophy for his advances in engineering design on the B-10. Alas, the rapid developments of aircraft design in the 1930's soon left the B-10 eclipsed by newer designs by the late 30's and by World War Two it was found to lack the armament and armor to defend itself, and the speed to run away. However, it served with several forces in the Pacific Theater in the early days of the war against the Japanese as a medium bomber.
