The Grumman F9F/F-9 Cougar was an aircraft carrier-based fighter aircraft for the United States Navy. Based on Grumman's earlier F9F Panther, the Cougar replaced the Panther's straight wing with a more modern swept wing, 8P photo-reconnaissance version. Kit features engraved panel lines, well appointed cockpit with resin ejection seat, air-to-air refueling probe, detailed undercarriage bay, 2-piece canopy, indicator lights, and photo etch parts (seat harnesses, instrument panels and consoles, wing fences, ext.).
