Lockheed twin-boom fighter, dedicated long-range photo-reconnaissance variant based on the P-38J fighter airframe. Kit features engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit, boxed-in wheel wells, nose section with camera fairings and apertures, optional drop tanks and bombs plus multi-part optional position canopy. Decals and painting reference for 2 US Army Air Force aircraft: s/n 43-28959 'Lightning Liz' of the 40th PRS, 9th PRG in Burma, 1944 and s/n 43-28624 'Kate' of the 34th PRS, 10th PG in England, June 1944.
