In 1948, the designation P-51 (P for pursuit) was changed to F-51 (F for fighter). At the start of the Korean War the Mustang once again proved its usefulness. Kit features crisp engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit with radio bay, ventral radiator, optional seated pilot, optional position landing gear, weighted tires, single-piece 4-blade propeller with separate spinner, optional position flaps, drop tanks (x2), bomb (x2), underwing rockets (x6) and multi-part optional position canopy. Markings for 2 aircraft:USAF 12th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter Bomber Group, Korea, 1952 and Dominican Republic Escuadron de Caza, Fuerza Aerea Dominicana, San Isidoro, 1984.
