T-10 (also known as Object 730, IS-8, or IS-10) was a Soviet heavy tank of the Cold War, the final development of the KV and IS tank series. During development, it was called IS-8 and IS-9. It was accepted into production in 1952 as the IS-10 (Iosif Stalin, Russian form of Joseph Stalin), but due to the political climate in the wake of Stalin's death in 1953, it was renamed T-10. Kit features upper hull with engraved detail (photoetch grille's, injection molded tow cable's, stowage boxes, rear armor plate, smoke bomb's, external cylindrical fuel drum's, 2-piece gun barrel with elevation, wooden log, filigree handhold and accents), turret with optional hatches (gunner's and commander's sight, ammo boxes, machine gun with elevation, stowage box and canvas roll), well represented running gear (sprockets, road wheels, idler wheels and workable individual track links), clear parts for (periscope and optical equipment).
