The Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track was an armored fighting vehicle designed and first built by the Hanomag company during World War II, and based on their earlier, unarmored Sd.Kfz. 11 vehicle. The Wurfrahmen 40 ("launch frame 40") was a German World War II multiple rocket launcher. It combined a vehicle such as the SdKfz 251 halftrack or captured ex-French Renault UE Chenillette with rocket artillery to form a more mobile and protected artillery piece than the towed Nebelwerfer. It was nicknamed Stuka zu Fuss.
Kit has fully detailed exterior, armored body with engraved panel lines and raised rivet heads, full engine, open-topped fighting compartment, well detailed running gear, individual track links and wheels, MG42, (3 ea) 28 cm Sprenggranate and 32 cm Flammgranate.
Decals for (2) vehicles: 8th Armored Division Wehrmacht 1941 and 3rd Engineer Company unknown Unit 1941.
