This model kit requires assembly. Cement, paint and other construction materials not included unless specifically stated in the description.

The light tank howitzer M7 HMC (Howitzer Motor Carriage) was introduced by the US Ar- Hin 1942. At first the shell of the M3 Lee/Grant was used, then use was also m- V later of Sherman chassis. The 23 tonne vehicle was often also known as the "Priest" because the anti-aircraft MG was located at the front on the right in a kind of pulpit. The lightly armoured construction that was open above provided space for driver, commander, gunlayer and three gunners and could fire on the battlefield with a range of 10.5 km. After the end of the Second World War the size of the howitzer's firing area was increased and the side walls were built up somewhat higher to protect the crew. This version on the chassis of the M4A3 Sherman tank was still in use in the Korean War and was part of the initial equipment of the German Federal Armed Forces. It was last deployed in 1971 in border conflicts between India and Pakistan and in 1973 on the Israeli side in the Yom Kippur War.
