1/35 "Hitching a Ride", U.S. Paratroopers and Civilians" - German Army 170VK car and 5 Figures
"Hitch on the road. US Paratroopers and Civilians" - The kit includes models of the German Army's 170 VK car and 5 figures. Three figures represent an elderly couple with their grandson. Two figures represent US military men. The action of the story takes place in southern Europe in 1944-1945. The country folk stopped at a US patrol to help them to find their position. The use of German trophy cars by civilian people in areas liberated from German forces is confirmed with documentary photographs. The figures are animated very well and they interact well with each other. The center of the story is the boy reaching out with childish ingenuousness for that which is most important for him now - soldiers accoutrements.
