This model kit requires assembly. Cement, paint and other construction materials not included unless specifically stated in the description.
Yankee Modelworks is offering its 1/350 scale model of the USS Alaska/Guam (CB-1 & 2), the only Battlecruisers to have served with the U.S. Navy.
As with all of Yankee's 1/350 scale kits, the model includes a comprehensive photo-etch set with railings, cranes, catapults, radars etc. The hundreds of small parts such as 20mm guns, ammo boxes, anchors, 25-man life rafts etc. are molded in white metal.
The USS Alaska/Guam kit includes 1/350 scale drawings as well as camouflage patterns and painting instructions for both ships. And all our 1/350 scale kits come with hull number decals.
This kit will render all other Alaska kits in ANY SCALE obsolete. All other kits were built to the drawings in the "US Battleships" book by Garzke & Dulin, which, unfortunately, are very inaccurate.
This is a resin and metal kit and is intended for advanced modelers only.
